The Seeberg lies on a steep south-facing slope to the west of the village of Zöbing. Six vast terraces comprise the vineyard site.
The influence of the cool Waldviertel region can be clearly felt here. High temperature differences between day and night let the grapes ripen slowly. This gives our Riesling an intensively fruity note. In addition, the depth of the terroir contributes spicy and mineral notes: the roots extend deep into the highly weathered garnet schist where they find a reservoir of pure lime. The vineyard is highly popular among green lizards. They take sunbaths on the hot stones and enjoy the abundant, varied food provided by shrubs and berries.
